Hi guys! Just 2 wee photos today… Sorry I’ve been a bit lazy with the picture box lately… The pics are of the pets who aren’t aloud indoors. Even Minty knows she can’t come in! Her mother (Adam) trained her well. Good news about Minty, she is finally eating grass! And getting bigger and bigger. I don’t want her to grow up…
To see some photos i took of what we ate for din dins have alook at the chefs blog www.adamfanson.wordpress.com. Ciao!

Hi guys! So it was finally a lovely evening, which mean, cocktails!!! I swear I’m not an alccy or anything… I just really love coming up with new cocktails with the Bees Blessing cordials. This cocktail in particular is quite easy to replace the Lemon Honey if you don’t have that lying around. If you are in NZ then you should defo buy some Lemon Honey cordial though… Thyme for another!!
Hi guys! So today, i must admit i was feeling a bit un-inspired… the weather was bad – very windy and tornado-ey feeling, sideways rain: the works (more like autumn than spring..!) We stayed inside making some delicious Ginger Taffy Pops however, which gave me an artificial sugary boost of ginger happiness. I only have one photo today… of the wellies that kept me dry. (to see how to make ginger taffy pops go to www.adamfanson.wordpress.com) !
Hola chicos y chica! I hope you are having a good start to the week. It was crazy weather in Wellington area today, woke up thinking there was a tornado or something going on outside. It was SOOO windy and rainy. But i found out that this is quite normal for this time of year, the reason why it’s called Windy Welly! I took a nice walk this afternoon when the weather was better and went to check out the neighbor’s cool pig and friends donkeys. It’s weird how at home i feel in the country side, and am so thankful for being here, in such clean fresh air. Some pics from my walk: (to see what i ate today go to: www.adamfanson.wordpress.com !!!!)

Spring has sprung here in NZ, and the flowers on the farm are growing like crazy. (I have to say it’s really weird to see everyone else in photos wearing hats and stuff.. Still not used to the southern hemisphere!)… I will take some shots of all the different flowers soon, but I was inspired by these baby roses today. The light in the garage and these pretty little pink roses made for the perfect moody photo. It’s a bit funny since Adam started his food blog; he used to make the food for my blog/work, but now he wants me to take photos for his blog! I don’t want to repeat photos on both so I guess my blog will become a little less foody now… Oh well, i guess it’s like I have 2 blogs! So after checking mine you must alway go to Adam’s, as it’s a double whammy of stephanie photography!! hee hee www.adamfanson.wordpress.com
Hola! So yesterday Adam and I had free tickets to the Wellington Home and Garden show at the Westpac stadium. The reason we were quite interested in going was to see if they had any info or showings of crate homes – as we are looking to evetually buy some crates and build a house out of them… Anyways we didn’t see anything to do with crates, but listened to an interesting seminar from “Dirt Doctor” about the right way to compost. Good advice, and I went to bed little less stupid last night… My photos however have nothing to do with crates or composting! Just a few shots from wandering around Wellington city after the show…
Oh, PS – Adam my chef husband has just entered the blog world!! check out his foodie blog www.adamfanson.wordpress.com

(Tramping = hiking in kiwi speak) We went tramping on Tuesday up behind the farm to the top of Mt Climbe, a 860 meter hike. Ian (Mr. Bees Blessing) took Adam, Rebecca (a lovely Californian wwoofer who was staying at the farm) and I, on a hell of a walk. It started off real smooth, nice path, then we entered the crazy-ness of intense bushes where we were using our arms for support from the 45 degree angle steepness. Then we entered the mossy globlin Lord of the Rings forest to finally arrive at the top for our well deserved egg sandwiches. It was a 3 hour up, 2 hour down journey of awesome-ness! Thanks again Ian, what a blast.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay in posts, I had no more space for my photos. Thanks to a lovely guy named Rich – I’m back! Today’s post is a little old, it’s from last week’s Bees Blessing launch party, to announce to the world their new lovely logo and look. Adam was the guest chef doing food demonstrations, showing the people what recipes can be made with the cordials. My photos might be in a few mags from the area, so that’s pretty exciting! Here are a few shots from the evening:
Hi guys, sorry it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Im having a few problems with posting photos at the moment, so should be fixed soon, check back shortly!
November november the 5th of november, gunpowder, treason and plot… Even in NZ they celebrate Guy Fawkes day! Not really sure what it’s about, something to do with Guy Fawkes trying to blow up Parliament and now they celebrate with fireworks and things! So on the 5th we had a few fireworks and i took some abstract photos!
Hi everyone! Welcome to my new blog. Sorry for the hassle of changing where you look, but I think it’s better this way, blog and website all in one!! I’m not sure if I’ve given an update of what we’ve been up to recently… Adam got the job in Hawkes Bay for a chef position in a posh lodge. We were about to leave, but our farm family gave us a better offer – so we decided to stay and be part of the Bees Blessing staff! It’s pretty perfect really, do some gardening, make some cordials, and still have plenty of time to freelance. Oh, and we couldn’t let little ol Minty grow up without her Mom (Adam)! Anyways, todays photos are from Adam playing around in the kitchen with some of the BB cordials. They are having their re-branding launch next week and Adam is the guest chef who will be doing a few demos and stuff, so he did some testing today:

Dear Minty fans, sorry for not giving you an update on Minty the lamb sooner!.. I know, I know it’s been awhile, and she’s been growing bigger and bigger and cuter and cuter, and healthier and healthier! I’ve been pretty busy lately working on my new website (coming soon) so haven’t had time to take any photos of dear Minty. It’s very exciting and really nice, it should be ready soon. In the meantime have a look at Minty the cutest little wee lamb in the world! Ciao!
Hello! So yesterday I had the chance to photograph an amazing contemporary jewellery gallery in Wellington, called Quoil.
